What it is  The Shih-Tzu is a dignified, lively, alert, happy, sweet and playful dog.

A Shih-Tzu’s Head A Shih-Tzu’s head is round and wide between the eyes. It’s nostrils are wide and open and the ears are large.

Shih- Tzu Coats The comfortable Shih-Tzu coat is long, thick and smooth.

What they eat They eat regular dog food like Purina, dog chow, etc., but they do have weak teeth puppies, also they have weak stomachs as puppies.

How much they cost They usually cost around $ each.

The Ears  The ears of a Shih-Tzu can contain excessive in-grown hairs.  These should be pulled out with a gentle twist to keep them healthy.
