By- Brianna S. This is a Puerto Rican mask, in Puerto Rico they use masks to represent their flag and/or their country.

All around the world masks! Did you know people all around the world use masks in different ways? Well if you didn’t let me give you five examples of how they use their masks. First up is the U.S.A and this you must know if you celebrate Halloween you know that on that holiday we use masks to frighten or amuse others. Next is Dominican Republic which uses masks in parades like different animals or faces that are important in their religion. My favorite is the colorful duck and when he comes by you he whips his whip on the floor really hard for everyone to hear! Third is my favorite and my religion Puerto Rico uses masks to represent their flag. Now next is Africa and it is so crazy and cool on how they use their masks! Africa uses a specific mask called Dagon for a ceremony to represent Africa and Dagon. In Asia they use their masks in a medical way as in to prevent viruses or bacteria.

The All around world mask pictures! U.S.A, Here is a witch mask used n Halloween! Puerto Rico, here is a mask representing their flag and/or their country. Dominican Republic here is my favorite one of all. Asia here is someone wearing the mask. Last is the Dagon mask from Africa.

Beauty as a Mask! Did you know people don’t just use masks for holidays or to honor? Women use masks for beauty! There is a cream women put on maybe at night to do wonders for their skin. Also at the spa they put a healthy green looking cream to again do amazing wonders for their skin. As women say it’s a miracle worker!

Masks to... Did you know masks also have a different meaning to photography, electronics, and entomology? Let me tell you about every definition about every single one! First Masks to Photography- a piece of something such as a card, used to cover a part of an image that is not required when exposing a print. Next, is Masks to Electronics- a patterned metal film used in the manufacture of microcircuits to allow selective modification of the underlying material. Last is Masks to Entomology- the enlarged lower lip of a dragonfly larva, which can be extended to seize prey.

Mold Masks Have you ever had a art project to make a mold of a face? Well if you haven’t let me tell you it’s a crazy experiment! First you need to make some kind of mold and apply it a mannequin face or a persons face. Don’t apply to eyes or mouth then you let it dry for an hour or two. Then when its done rip it off, but gently! Then your mold mask is done! Who ever knew that masks can be made for art by you?!

Wrap up Masks Now that were done I hope you learned all about masks. I told you about all around masks, beauty as a mask, masks to photography electronics and entomology, and mold masks! That was so fun talking about masks! I learned and now you learned all about masks. Did you ever know that masks can do this stuff? I didn’t either, but it was fun researching all about it and now my research was given to you! I hope you enjoyed my five point presentation!

Researching websites! Here is some websites I used to get these facts. This website told me about the definition of masks. The all around the world masks came from basically my brain because I know all about Dominican Republic because that’s my sisters religion and she told me so much about it, Puerto Rico basically that’s my home so I already knew so much about it, and U.S.A because I live their! Down below is the websites is on how I figured out about Asia and Africa! wear-surgical-masks-in-public/ Asia wear-surgical-masks-in-public/ Africa
