The pyramids of Egypt There are 138 pyramids discovered in Egypt as of most were built as tombs for the country's pharaohs and their consorts during the old and middle kingdom the periods. Today I will choose the most famous Egyptian pyramids and I will talk about each one separate

Khufu pyramid At first, Khufu is the great pyramid of Giza. It is the oldest and largest of three pyramids in el Giza Egypt and it is the only one of seven wonders of the ancient world. The estimate of the number of workers it took to build that pyramid from 20 thousand and up to hundred thousand.

It built entirely of lime stone and it consider an architectural master peace. It contains around 3 to 4 million blocks ranging in weight from 2,5 tones to 15 tones it built with on a square base with side measuring about 230 meters covering 13 acres The original height of that pyramids was 146 meter but today is only 137 meter
