Endocrine System: Tyroid Cancer By :Jackie Mercado

What is it? Tyroid cancer is a development of a malignant tumor on the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located at the front bottom of the neck.

How do you get it ? Changes in a persons DNA can cause cancers thyroid cells. which cause you to get thyroid cancer. People who have been exposed to lots of radiation get thyroid cancer.

Does the body try to fix itself? Natural therapies help your body heal itself. It can also minimize the side effects of the treatment.

Is it curable? Most thyroid cancers are curable. You have more chance of being cured than any other type of cancer. The cure rate is very high because its detected in time.

What medicines can you take? If you have these disease you need to take a radioactive iodine treatment as soon as you know. You can also take over the counter prescriptions like: ibuprofen,advil,motrin for pain.
