 Multiple input and output feeds  Automate fades and cross fades  Live voice recording and editing for program creation  Control the entire stations output unattended  Operate auxiliary equipment- starting a CD player, operating a switcher  Provide filler music or back up logs when there is a fault

 Download programs from an FTP server and playback  Run scripts to copy or move files across a network  Live audio streaming  Provide live HTML or text data for web or RDS stream  E.g. What program is playing, what is next, news ticker

 ‘Lite’ versions may be used in studios for presenters  full systems to control the stations output to air  Combined together form a powerful server based system for audio play out  Organise your music, many ID3 tag compatible  Create daily schedules  Create special event schedules  Generate reports for sponsorship  Fill in slots for missing presenters

 Remote access the software using VNC to schedule events  Record from satellite or internet feed and play back program later  Switch to another source such CRN overnight  Switch to each studio live to air, avoiding presenter mistakes  Cross over to the News or an OB at scheduled time

 Generally a Windows based PC  Preferably a rack mount industrial machine on UPS that stays on 24/7  Separate hard drive(s) for media  Professional balanced sound card, the number of inputs determines number of sources  Network connection
