When did he rule Egypt? He ruled Egypt for 90 years. Some say he is the longest King who ever ruled Egypt. He ruled from 2246-2152 B.C. the 6th dynasty.

Where was he buried? Pepi built his funerary pyramid in Saqqara South, near the monument of Shepseskaf of the 4th Dynasty. His three wives were buried in smaller pyramids next to his own.

How did he rule? Was he a bad or good king?

Why was he King? The longest reigning pharaoh of ancient Egypt - he ruled Egypt for 94 years. He inherited the throne while he was only 6 after the death of his half- brother Merenre. During these early years his mother, Queen Ankhnesmerire acted as regent.
