Navy Job Analysis (NJA) 1

 Purpose: Restore, streamline and improve Navy Job Analysis Management Capabilities  Supports: Navy Occupational Classification, Manpower Requirements Determination, Curricula Development, and Navy Advancement Exam Development  Strategy: Leverage/maximize existing NAVMAC, NETC, NPRST, NAWCTSD and NETPDC job analysis processes/applications, MPTE IT Service Providers, and available funding  NJA Cross Functional Team: Chartered to develop and execute integrated Plans of Action and Milestones to accomplish the deliverables laid out in the NAVMAC/NETPDTC/NETC COO/NPRST NJA Way Ahead Navy Job Analysis (NJA) Cross Functional Team ( CFT) 2

 Deliverables:  Data Collection and integrated task data– CFT is identifying synergy and streamlining process for collecting, validating and sharing of task data across MPTE.  Survey – Authority to Operate (ATO) complete Jan 2014  Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) for Data Collection efforts  Phase 2 is complete as its purpose was to study implementation of Phase 1 recommendations  COA recommendations were briefed on 28 Jan 2015 and the CFT is awaiting feedback.  Navy Occupational Data Collection and Management Tool (NODCAM) – 6.5 R&D initiative to build tool for development of OCCSTDs.  Prototype complete  Migration to NETPDTC Server- Complete  Testing now in progress Navy Job Analysis (NJA) Cross Functional Team ( CFT) 3

This allows for seamless transfer of data and ready access for stakeholders.  Upload Approved OCCSTDs/NAVSTDs - Complete  Socialization plan in progress  Align/normalize Navy Task Classification (NTC) list – classify Navy Enlisted Occupational Standard task statements within a standard taxonomy  Taxonomy – Approved Jun 2013  Learning Center SME Validation - In Progress  ECD – 2018  IT Working Group- cross organizational work group stood up to resolve IT issues related to NJA CFT deliverables 4
