THE ORGANIZATION AND THE CONTENT OF PEDAGOGICALLY – EDUCATIONAL WORK

THE PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH ADJUSTED PROGRAMM  pedagogical – educational work goes by per bases of curriculum and didactic syllabuses for primary school with adjusted program. At executions we consider school calendar.

THE NINE – YEAR LONG PRIMARY SCHOOL AND ITS CARACTERISTICS in the entire first pedagogically – educational period is knowledge of students evaluated descriptively for all school subjects there are new didactic syllabuses, didactic contents are variegated, life regulated and adjusted to special needs of our students children are six years old when they start schooling (as it is in majority of European countries) there is a large stress on pedagogical subjects, at which students gain useful knowledge, skills and expertnesses

new subjects are: computer science, social learning, foreign language we always try to find the most suitable area for each and every student, which especially develops and improves in lower vocational education we also assist and help parents at care for child’s complete personality development

METHODS AND FORMS OF WORK The Pedagogical and educational work is based upon special pedagogical methods and forms of work. We are also including elements of Montessori pedagogic, Teacch Method

THE DAILY EXTENSION  students from 1. to 9. class are involved in daily extension  contents of daily extension are based on whole day qualifying of child with emphasis on independent learning, sports and recreational activities, nutrition, health care, rest, free time and creative activities. It is goes from 11.30am until 03.30pm after school classes

THE BOARDING SCHOOL  pedagogical activity runs after whole day of qualifying, which includes:  health care  home education with learning  creative activities  sports and recreation activities  social worker and nurse are also involved in educational development Students attend boarding school because:  far school distance  help and assistant with learning  inconvenient home circumstances

A SPECIAL MOBILE PEDAGOGICAL SERVICE  special mobile pedagogical service is performed by three teachers on 12 regular primary schools and 2 branch schools in communes of Slovenska Bistrica in Oplotnica  special educator performs additional professional work with special needs students. Besides the direct work with students, the cooperation with class teacher and other teachers, the ones that teach special needs students is very important and also cooperation with parents.

OTHER ACTIVITIES DAYS OF ACTIVITIES – organized by areas  culture days  sports days  nature days  working activities, production and other socially necessary work  technical days for 7. class in nine – year long primary school  technical days for 8. class in nine – year long primary school  technical days for 9. class in nine – year long primary school

A PROJECT WORK Project work is giving extraordinary possibilities for research and creative work and cooperation of students, school employees, parents and outside collaborators. It is a part of regular class and runs together with other activities beside regular class A SCHOOL active spending of free time OVI active spending of free time A BORDING SCHOOL medical herbs and spices

PRODUCTION WORK THE BRIDGE BETWEEN SCHOOL AND JOB  production work is organized for students in 8. and 9. class in nine – year long primary school within technical days. It is performed in school and working organizations.  The practice is guided by social worker in cooperation with class teacher and teachers of technical subjects.  during working practice we try to find out the abilities of students to adapt 8 – hour employment, the ability for understanding instructions, the persistence and accuracy at work, the ability of inclusion to new environment, interests of students for doing certain work or field of interest.
