Grammar Grabber The Grammar Grabber is a website where you can practice doing grammar questions that have been designed to improve your grammar. By getting answers correct you get points and these points are used to rank you against others. It also provides a detailed analysis of your grammar skills.

This is the home page. This is where the newest members are featured Use this navigation bar to go to different pages in the website The top ten Grammar Grabbers are featured in the ranking tables here User Login link

QUIZ PAGE The Quiz Page is where the action is. Here you can start answering questions and earn points to go up the rank.

To access the quiz page click on User Login. The login panel will pop up. Type your Username and Password in the panel and click on ‘Login’. Click on User Login to access your account

Once you are successfully logged in, click on ‘Start Climb’ to go to the Quiz Page. ‘Start Climb’

Cool! We are on the Quiz Page now. Read the sentence carefully and click on the option which you think is correct. Then click on ‘Submit’ to check your answer. This box shows you your current level stats This is the question

CORRECT! You earn points every time you get an answer right. Click on ‘Next Question’ to continue. Your points increase when the answer is correct. Next Question

Ooooops! You do not earn points each time you get an answer wrong. The correct answer is given in the pink box. If you want to know why your answer is incorrect click on ‘View Answer Tip’ to find out. Your points do not change when the answer is incorrec t. View Answer Tip Correct answer

When you click on ‘View Answer Tip’ you will get a pop-up on your screen which provides you with the relevant notes to help you understand the grammar rules for the question that you just did. Pop-up

Anytime you are not sure of the answer just click on the link to the related grammar component which can be found below the question. You will get a pop-up where you can do a quick review of the grammar rules to answer the question more confidently. Link to grammar rules

The Grammar Grabber provides you with many useful statistics to inform you how well you are doing. STATISTIC S

There are 40 levels to climb. The earlier levels are easier to climb than the later levels. This number tells you how you rank when compared to other Grammar Grabbers in the age category of the ladder you have chosen. This shows the total basic points you have earned by getting correct answers. Here you can find out how many questions you have answered so far.

The ranking score is used to rank you against the other Grammar Grabbers. The basic score, the number of questions attempted and the percentage of the questions that you have gotten correct so far are all multiplied using a formula to give you the ranking score. This tells you how you rank when compared to all the other Grammar Grabbers. This value tells you the percentage of questions that you have answered correctly so far.

The table above shows you how well you have done in the different grammar components. You can use the information to analyze which components you are weak in so that you can do additional practice on your own to improve your grammar skills.

RANKING PAGE The Ranking Page in the Grammar Grabber lets you know how you rank when compared to other users. There are three ladders on this page. They are The Global Ladder, The Singapore Ladder and The International Ladder.

The Global Ladder The global ladder consists of all those who are users of The Grammar Grabber. Users are not categorized according to where the come from or which age category that they are in.

The Singapore Ladder The Singapore Ladder consists of all those who are from Singapore. Users are categorized according to the age category that they selected during the registration process.

The International Ladder The International Ladder consists of all users from Singapore and the rest of the world. Users are categorized according to the age category that they selected during the registration process.

Free Subscriber The following are the steps to become a free subscriber. 1. Click on ‘Pricing’ in the main page. 2. In the pricing page click on Free Trial. 3. Complete the registration form. Please provide a valid address where we can send the activation link to. 4. Access your to activate your account and you can start using The Grammar Grabber right away. Single Subscriber The following are the steps to become a single subscriber. 1. Click on ‘Pricing’ in the main page. 2. In the pricing page click on Free Trial. 3. Complete the registration form. Please provide a valid address where we can send the activation link to. 4. Complete the payment procedures. If you have a promo code type it in for your discount. 5. Access your to activate your account and you can start using The Grammar Grabber right away.

Bulk Subscribers Bulk subscription to The Grammar Grabber gives you discounts if you purchase more than 5 user accounts. Depending on the number of accounts you are purchasing the discounts can be as high as 50% off the regular rates. As a bulk subscriber you will be given promo- codes that you can distribute to your users. Your users can then use these promo-codes to register with The Grammar Grabber. You will be given a user-id and a password to the subscriber manager page to view your promo-codes. Here you can track whom you have given the promo codes to and how many are left.

Subscription Rates Our subscription rates are affordable and what you are paying for is a years worth of practice. Currrently there are 7000 questions in the database and we are working towards adding another 5000 within the next 6 months. We are constantly adding questions and reviewing existing ones so as to ensure that you get the best possible opportunity to practice your grammar.
