A circuit is when electricity goes around from an electricity source to an electronical device/thing. There are 2 sources of circuits. One of them is a socket (what is powered by a socket is mains powered)and the other one is a battery (Battery powered).

An electric circuit works when electricity from the power source comes through a wire so it can reach the object. A circuit needs somewhere to go so it works. Inside wires there are copper wires which are conductors. The plastic around the wires insulates the wires. The plastic is also there so you don’t get an electric shock whenever you touch the wires.

Electricity Conductors allow electricity to travel through different objects. Conductive metals are electricity conductors. Here is a list of different Electricity conductors: Conductive Metals Copper Nickel Steel Brass Stainless Steel Iron

Every circuit has a symbol/diagram that represents it. Here are some of the circuit diagrams. Bulb Motor Battery Cell 2 Battery Cells Buzzer Switch (On) Switch (Off)

Electric circuits make our life easier, better, and brighter, but electric circuits can also harm you. We hope that you have learnt something from our PowerPoint. Thanks for watching!!! For more information about electric circuits please visit these websites:
