Employment Opportunities The industry relates mostly to the needs of people when eating or sleeping. Restaurants, Institutions, Hotels, Cruise Ships, and Airlines do the majority of the hiring.

Entrepreneurial Opportunities Options include catering, cleaning services, and cake decorating, restaurant ownership, and hotel ownership. Bakers, cooking class instructors, and bed and breakfast operators are also often entrepreneurs.

Entry- Level Jobs With a high school diploma and OJT (on the job training) there are jobs in the food preparation industry.
