Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 policy changes Before SP2 : –Policies were retrieved from the Management Point and were not effective until after 2 minutes With SP2 : –Policies are now being applied straight away Benefits : –OSD Task Sequences will run faster as they do not need to wait anymore after a reboot. –User or group targeted deployments at logon will run instantly. This is a huge improvement for App-V applications
