My Haggadah Add your first and last name

This Passover I am thankful for: Write what you are thankful for and whom you are thankful for Include anything that you are thankful for – your family, friends, or a personal favorite belonging

Afikokman Over the years, we discover things, friends, or information that is particularly precious to ourselves. Write about a great treasure that you have found and what it is used for. Why is this so special to you?

Why is this night different from all other nights? Tell us about how your family celebrates the Seder. Is there a special custom that you have? If so, do you know where it comes from? What foods do you make for the Seder? Who is invited to celebrate with you? Tell us about your Seder experiences. How is the Seder different from other family celebrations and/or holidays?

Why is this night different from all other nights? Tell us how you Seder is different as you celebrate it now from the way you remember celebrating your first Passover. According to your family stories, how is your Seder different today from when your parents or grandparents used to celebrate it?

We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt “In every generation a person is supposed to consider oneself as if they had left Egypt.” Every person has had their own troubles. (In Hebrew, troubles - צרות, is similar to the word for Egypt - מצרים.) Discuss with your student how they may have overcome, freed themselves, from their own Egypt, or troubles.

The Torah speaks of four children: One is wise, one is wicked, one is simple and one does not know how to ask. We all have different parts of our personality, sometimes we're smart, sometimes a little wicked, sometimes naive and sometimes we just do not know. Tell briefly about the case in which you acted like one or more of the children mentioned in the Haggadah. What would you like to maintain or change from this behavior?

The 10 Plagues Blood Frogs Lice Wild Beasts Pestilence Boils Hail Locusts Darkness Death of the First Born Throughout our lives we often experience “plagues" that can arrive as failure, disappointment or fear. Tell us about a “plague” that you (or a family member) experienced. How did you/they overcome? What did you/they learn from it?

Whoever does not discuss the following three things on Passover has not fulfilled his duty, namely: Passover (the Passover-sacrifice), Matzah (the unleavened bread), and Maror (the bitter herbs). We all have family customs. What are the three words that you are “obligated” to uphold in your family on Passover? (For example Gefilte Fish, new clothes, celebration, Afikomen presents) How do these words represent your holiday experience with your family?

Happy Passover!
