Traits The Turkey Vulture is a warm blooded vertebrate. It is a black bird. And adults are 30 inches in length. With wings spread it is 6 feet long.
Adaptations A body part that helps it survive is it`s wings, they help it fly high so it can spot food. It eats carrion or garbage disposers. The body covering that help it survive is it`s feathers. They help them get a good start when they fly.
An interesting fact It`s feathers make it`s wings 6 inches longer then his or her wings actually are.
HABITAT The turkey vultures are usually found in dark parts of a forest like in a hollow log or caves.
