 To do this, you will give your band a professional image to get it noticed.  By using your creativity & desktop publishing design skills, you’ll…  Be taking the stage  Performing a free concert to gain publicity  Receiving a recording contract  Taking your act on a national concert tour  Get ready to learn what it’s like to market and promote a real product  Your own band!

 Stonehenge is a band created specifically for this simulation  You may not copy any of their documents!  They are in the book to serve as examples only  Do not copy the design nor the content  Read pages 14-16

 What do you think of Stonehenge?  How can looking at Stonehenge’s documents help you design your own?  Why should you not copy the sample documents provided by Stonehenge?

 In your student drive, you should already have a folder called Desktop, Multimedia, and Web Technologies OR DMW  Open it  Create a folder called Concert Tour YourName  Save everything from this simulation in it  In addition, Drop a copy of every completed project into Mrs. Bullock’s Inbox  Be sure to name your projects correctly!

 Submit all completed work as they are completed!  You will be presenting your project on the day of the exam!  Dress appropriate for presentation  Be prepared to show and discuss each of your completed Projects  Be prepared to answer questions regarding your Projects

 What is your role in this simulation?  Why will it be important to know your target audience?  Will be required to write a good description  What types of design elements will help your band create a professional image?
