An introduction to Shakespeare Learning Objectives To learn at least 2 facts about William Shakespeare. To be aware of the society that he lived in.

The big QUESTION! Who do YOU think William Shakespeare is?

Challenge 1 Your first challenge is for you and the person next to you to write down as many things about William Shakespeare as you possibly can. YOU HAVE 3 MINUTES TO COMPLETE THIS CHALLENGE!

You will now give your teacher 3 of your answers. They will write this on the board. If you have the answers other pupils have, WELL DONE. If you don’t then write them down.

Task 1 You will all be given a worksheet on Shakespeare FACTS. YouFACTS and your teacher will spend 10 minutes reading this sheet aloud in turns. Once you have read this as a class you will have 5 minutes to read this to yourself.

Task 2 You will now be given a QUIZ to do. You have 15 minutes to complete this sheet in your book. You must write it in full sentences. QUIZ
