 It is leading on the development and implementation of a coaching system for the UK.  They aim to create a cohesive, ethical, inclusive and valued coaching system that supports children, adults, players and athletes at all stages of development.

 Enhance the quality of coaching at all stages.  Provide active, skilled and qualified coaches to meet demand. This will lead to sustained and increased participation and improved performances in sport.

 They are working in partnership to establish the UK Centre for coaching excellence in sport and disability sport.  Centre will offer training to high-performing children.  It will help identify British sports stars of the future.

 This develops a hierarchical model of coaches: Assistant Coach, Coach, Senior Coach and Master Coach.
