R e m e m b e r... A HABITAT is a place where plants and animals live. A habitat has FOOD, WATER and AIR. A habitat gives SHELTER for plants and animals.

Wetlands Wetlands are areas that are covered with water and this helps the vegetation to grow.

What do wetlands have? Wetlands have: -Food and water for plants and animals. -Shelter for animals.

Wetlands get a lot of rain in the summer. They get less rain in winter.

These are some of the animals that live in wetlands.

Toads Muskrat Mink

Crane Fish River Otter

Ducks Dragonfly Tortoise

Plants in the wetlands get the sunlight they need to live. Animals in the wetlands get the food they need to live.

Study the wetlands! God Bless You! Miss Gina
