Chinese New Year Class : 3D Name : Li Hiu Man, Yan Tsz Tung, Mo Yanmei, Ho Wing Hung Teacher-in-charge : Ms. Jacki Date : 20th January, 2009

Hello everyone. We are Sophia, Michelle, Jasmine and Vivienne from Form 3DR. We are here to talk about Chinese New Year.

And Chinese star signs. Star – what?

Chinese star signs – the different signs for the year you were born. That sounds like fun!

This year is the year of the Ox. If you were born in 1961; 1973; 1985; 1997

Or THIS year… You were born in the Year of the Ox.

Here are some predictions for the Year of the Ox. The Ox is very hard working. This is a year for hard work – for everyone.

You also need to plan for your future very carefully. So what does this mean for us?

It means that if you want to do well at school, you need to work very hard. And plan ahead. This means that you cannot leave everything until the last moment – you need to plan for the future.

We hope that everyone has a Happy New Year. And enjoys time with their family. And that you get a LOT of red packets! Happy New Year everyone.

We hope that everyone has a Happy New Year. And enjoys time with their family. And that you get a LOT of red packets! Yes, have fun!
