How he spent his money Used his money to support the Union Gave 10% of his money to his local Church Gave money for health causes,education,and art Founded African-American women for college Founded standard oil company(primary oil company)

HOW HE DONATED HIS MONEY John D. Rockefeller Made Over 550 Million Dollars ,and supplied most of his money To charities such as schools including schools for African American women, churches, and Medicine research.

WHY HE WAS BETTER THAN THE OTHER “ROBBER BARONS” Unlike other Barons Barons,Rockerfeller used money he gained to benefit not only himself but, other’s as well. He was generous, and constantly helped find research projects the education.

How he Acquired his wealth ? Worked as a cleric Saved money Edwin drake discovered oil and he visional the future to bring him to great wealth Started an oil company Lowered prices on oil Had trust which led to being the largest business

How did he treat his workers John D. Rockefeller had a reputation for treating his workers well He was known to give long vacations to his workers with full pay He wanted to produce the best and the cheapest

Conclusion We feel that all in all John Rockefeller can be considered a captain of industry following the theory of Social Darwinism. Rockefeller had a moral reasonability to giveback to society .
