He says “As the saying goes, type is a beautiful group of letters, not a group of beautiful letters.” This quote suggests it isn’t about the words you chose to put on paper, it’s how you make them look beautiful on paper.

David Carson American graphic designer David Carson is best known for his art in typography. Carson changed the dimensions of design and pushed his boundaries, as he shocked the world with his ability to use text to create art. He would squash up, enlarge, and re-arrange text to create a sense of design. In 1990 he used boundary-breaking typography in the “Ray Gun” magazine. Carson would almost make his text unreadable, making the characters upside-down and scattered around the page. This was called the “grunge” typography era. Words were unreadable, but the subconscious mind always knew what the piece was trying to say. As you can see by these images, they make the viewer think outside the box. Conclusion Typography is used in our everyday life. Without typography, art would just be pictures and paintings. Typography is used in our everyday life.
