Gods & Goddesses Egyptians cherish the gods and goddesses. There are about 2,000 gods and goddesses that the Egyptians believe in. Each god has a different power. Such as: Horus (sky god) Amun -Ra (sun god) www.civilization.ca/.../Egypt/images/reli01b.jp

The Role of Women The woman mostly ran the household and they could start a family at any age. They believed that the women were very important to the society. They were able to have children. Afterlife Afterlife was very important to the Egyptians. It was the most important part of life. Wealthy people get buried in stone tombs and get valuable stuff. Those who have a light heart mean they lived a life as a good person.
