 Greatest drug problem 1.Oldest drug. 2. According to the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse, almost 80% of high school students have tried alcohol. 3.Alcoholism is a disease. Like any disease, it needs to be treated.

  Ethanol- the type of alcohol that is used in beverages  Fermentation- is the chemical action of yeast and sugar  Distillation- Distillation is a commonly used method for purifying liquids and separating mixtures of liquids into their individual components.  Proof- An alcohol-water mixture or a beverage containing a standard amount of alcohol, the U.S. standard being 100 proof, or 50 percent, of ethyl alcohol by volume at 60°F  Brewing - the process of producing beer from barley.
