EDT Overview The EDT was developed to help system builders quickly, easily, and correctly deploy PCs with Windows ® 7, Office 2010, PC Essentials, and Security Essentials. In conjunction with the OPK tools, the EDT interface facilitates the deployment of PCs in typical environments, allowing system builders to easily populate the most common customization options such as OEM branding, support and contact information, and much more. 3 | Download the EDT at With one click, the EDT enables PC Essentials configuration. With only a few clicks, many of the more technically difficult options such as Hard Drive Recovery and adding software to the image can be enabled.
