SURPLUS PROPERTY PROCESS STATE OF TEXAS SURPLUS PROPERTY PROCESS Govt. Code, Title 10, Subtitle D, Chapter 2175 Texas law requires that state agencies allow 501(c)3 non-profit entities to acquire their surplus property, before the items are sold through surplus sale options.

SURPLUS PROPERTY PROCESS STATE OF TEXAS SURPLUS PROPERTY PROCESS Govt. Code, Title 10, Subtitle D, Chapter 2175 The State of Texas has an approved list of non-profit entities that can acquire surplus from state agencies. To see this list, go to: tblassistanceorganizations.asp
