Where is South Africa? South Africa is located at the very southern tip of Africa. It’s below Namibia and Zimbabwe. South Africa is surrounded by the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. South Africa ranges from west to east across its northern border.

The South African Flag  The South African flag was used to represent new democracy. According to South African government the South African flag is “a synopsis of principal elements of the country’s flag history.” Some people have other symbolism to the colours or colour combinations. The flag is designed with a green horizontal Y with white outlining, there is a red block on top and a blue at the bottom. Then once the arms of the Y stretch out there is a black isosceles triangle outlined in yellow.

South African Natural Resources Their natural resources are: Their natural resources are: Gold, chromium, antimony, coal, iron, ore, manganese, nickel, phosphates, tin, uranium, gem diamonds, platinum, copper, vanadium, salt, and natural gas. Gold, chromium, antimony, coal, iron, ore, manganese, nickel, phosphates, tin, uranium, gem diamonds, platinum, copper, vanadium, salt, and natural gas. South Africans most likely use gold, copper, and nickel for their money life we do. They might also use gem diamonds for money or fancy jewelry. I think they might use coal and iron for fire or as a source of energy. I’m quite sure they use natural gas for cars and other transportation vehicles. The other resources most likely used for similar needs. South Africans most likely use gold, copper, and nickel for their money life we do.
