Introduction Our Focus: – Prototype both a quarterback and a receiver in order to complete an offensive passing play. Today’s Discussion: – Prototype construction – Programming – Documentation

Previous Week’s Action Items Item 1: Construct Robot Bodies – Machined all HDPE pieces. – Assembled all basic structural body components. – QB: integration of throwing arm near completion. – Receiver: integration of the interrupt piece still in question.

Previous Week’s Action Items Item 2: Complete Working Programs for Each Component – Quarterback: All components OPERATIONAL (arm and base). – Receiver: Speed controlled drive wheels OPERATIONAL. Infrared interrupter OPERATIONAL. Front drive wheels are NOT PROGRAMMED.

Current Status of Concept Status of the Design – Prototype Construction – Back on schedule: Moving forward at a good pace. – Minor show-stopper: Attachment of interrupt dial to receiver wheel.

Receiver Current Graphic

Next Week’s Action Items Item 1: Complete Design Documentation – Complete and proofread each deliverable. – Upload to website. – Tie up loose ends on website. Item 2: Integrate Program Components – Combine components into one main program for the quarterback robot.

Conclusion Important Points: – All parts machined, basic construction complete. – Working programs for every element except the receiver turning wheels. – Design documentation and main programs for the quarterback will be complete next week.
