OSIN Logon Instructions Open your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer) Go to public website address: Click on the SIGN ON Button

SIGN ON Type in your RISSNET Portal user id ( 1), password( 2), and Captcha challenge-response number. And then click SIGN ON Note: Be sure to enter the Portal password, NOT the Certificate password. **********

You will be prompted to choose a digital certificate Choose your RISS Root Authority certificate and click the OK button.

RISSNET Portal Home page Near the top-middle of this page click on “Update My Favorites”

Select desired favorite resource On the Left, under “Resource Categories”, mouse-over “External – Law Enforcement Exclusive”, and then on the Right, Scroll down to “Oregon State Intelligence Network (OSIN)” Put a Check In the box of “Add To Favorites”. Now Click the “Update Favorites” and then “Return to Home Page”

You’re returned to the RISSNET Portal Home page Look for “Oregon State Intelligence Network (OSIN) under My Favorites and Click on that link to open the OSIN Welcome page

OSIN Welcome Page Fill in user id and password (same as or.hidta.net ), then Click on “I have read, understand, and agree to comply with the above statement.
