2 The European network of Services Centres - in 35 European countries, more than 200 Services Centres, creating national networks - diversing structures of the network - in the Czech Republic – 1 Services Centre (former Mobility Centre) + 8 Local Contact Points

4 Czech Services Center (CSC)  established under the Centre for Administration and Operations of the Academy of the Sciences of the CR  financed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in the frame of the EUPRO program The office of the CSC is located in the Wiehl’s House, Vodičkova 40, Prague 1

5 CSC cooperates with  South Moravian Center for International Mobility in Brno With Local Contact Points (LCP) located at universities  Prague (ChU, TU)  Č. Budějovice (USB)  Pilsen (UWB)  Liberec (TULI)  Hradec Králové (UHK)  Ostrava (TUO)

6 Aims of the CSC  dismantling administrative obstacles and hence simplifying the processes concerning especially long- term stays of foreign researchers for the purpose of scientific research  be a valuable part of the European researchers network

7 Main tasks of the CSC  offering information, services, help and consultancy, as well as personal assistance to foreign researchers when dealing with problems regarding their stay in the Czech Republic (visa, accommodation, taxes, health insurance, etc.)  cooperation with: - Local Contact Points - state & non-state institutions providing the requested information

10 Organizations that register at the Portal can - upload job offers - search for candidates meeting their requirements. Registered researchers can upload their CV into the database which is accessible to registered organizations. The service of the Portal is free of charge, for non-commercial use only.
