“In health there is freedom… Health is the first of all liberties.”

Uber Education & Charitable Society Committed to the core motive of educating the underprivileged, Uber Education & Charitable Society came to life in 2005 by generating awareness of healthy living habits; its importance and impact on our environment.

We look forward to create A world of underprivileged citizens fit with healthy habits. Contribute to the world by keeping the environment clean & green. Our contribution to the healthcare sector in the last five years has seen a remarkable reach. It has achieved this feat by the following measures: -Starting the cheapest MRI and CT scan centre in Mumbai, which works on non-profit basis. -Providing world-class equipments for various diagnostic tests, which are done on non-profit basis. Our efforts to kill heart diseases prompted us to promote cycling in India. We completely believe in the slogan, “ Burn Fat, Not Fuel! ” which stands as a perfect synergy of two causes we wish to promote, which are: -Beat heart diseases -Encourage cycling to bring down the rate of pollution

 Heart disease is a global epidemic, which is heavily supported by its two pre disposers, which are Obesity & Diabetes.  Heart disease is the biggest killer of all times.  On an average 1,940 people die, every hour as we speak, out of heart disease making heart disease one of the most deadly killers in the world. Plus our sedentary lifestyle, eating habits l loaded with junk food and stress only supports the penetration of this deadly epidemic.  Usage of plush cars, again, contributes to CO2 emissions which further contributes to the pollution; all adding to diseased environment we live in.  It only with this thought we chose to promote cycling, which not only is the best cardiovascular exercise for heart disease but also is a great way to keep our environment clean and green.

Mission and Objectives - To beat and prevent heart disease in the country. - To set up healthcare facilities for the underprivileged where treatment and diagnosis is done at heavily subsidised costs on a non-profit basis. - To educate the underprivileged by providing free education. - To support the girl child by providing free education. - To promote a clean and green environment and wellness by promoting alternate means of transport. For example, Cycling.

ID Sports Pvt. Ltd. and Uber Education and Charitable Society – The Sport and Health Connection. With the core responsibility of being socially and environmentally conscious, ID Sports Pvt. Ltd. aims at organizing International Cycling Race in the heart of India, Mumbai & New Delhi. ID Sports along with its charity arm Uber Education and Charitable Society, with the concept of “ Burn Fat, Not Fuel ”, is optimistic in achieving the following: Health and Fitness Center facilities Indoor Cycling such as Spinning National & International Professional Cycling Races being the core events of promotion.

The concept - Burn Fat, Not Fuel!  Cycling exercises the heart better and invigorates the mind. The best thing about cycling is that one can ride a bicycle almost anywhere and at any time of the year. ID Sports accentuates this movement and wants to create awareness about cycling and it ’ s benefits.  Tour De Mumbai -Mumbai Cyclothon 2010 in Mumbai, in February and Gitanjali Tour de Delhi – Cyclothon 2010, in August, were not only our professional cycling events but also such that included mass participation and most importantly, corporate rides which opened up as a successful channel for donations towards our charitable causes.  All the races are held under the aegis of International Cycling Union (UCI) and Cycling Federation of India (CFI)

Charity Figures  Our Charity Supporters:

Uber’s message  At the heart of it, we work by providing lasting and sustainable changes to better the lives of the underprivileged.  Our core motive keeps us grounded and sensitive to every community and religion and help develop better healthy lives without any discrimination. Also in this initiative we have started first by helping smaller, local organizations.  Transparency and accountability are the two principles we stand by and ensure that we deliver all the beneficial services we promise to those who need it the most.  We are committed and optimistic in achieving our goals by continually providing affordable healthcare facilities and educating the underprivileged about the benefits of healthy living and necessity of a clean environment.  With continued support and commitment from our supporters and donors, we hope that even more progress can be made over time.

Future at Uber  With our ever-growing efforts through our work and broad coverage of our national and international cycling events, through ID Sports, we look forward in the near future to develop Uber, as a brand synonymous to healthcare and environmentally conscious brand focused on the betterment of underprivileged.  An addition of a new city/state with every passing year, in the cyclothon, will see the reach of Uber beyond just Mumbai and New Delhi. Plus our international associations enable us to offer a wider channel, that is, to potential donators for gaining charity towards our causes.  Starting from Mumbai in February, we moved onto New Delhi, following which, in the next year we add Nasik to our race destination. Combining Nasik and Mumbai, 2011 will see Tour de Mumbai – Cyclothon 2010, Stage 1: Nasik and Stage 2: Mumbai.  In our second year, we are more hopeful than ever to increase the scope of charity through all our promotional activities. With tremendous reach nationwide and slowly growing worldwide recognition we are hopeful to encash these growing opportunities for Uber and its causes.

Thank You
