Let’s start with the egg: The female frog lays her eggs in the pond near a lily pad. Each tiny egg is wrapped in clear jelly. Inside the jelly, the eggs grow into tadpoles. Next
Tadpoles Inside the egg, the tadpoles grow gills so they can breathe like fish. When the tadpoles are ready, they push through the jelly egg and swim in the water. Next

Soon the tadpole grows hind legs with tiny webbed toes for swimming. Next, she grows arms with long, skinny fingers. Next
