The origin of the Red Angus breed is in Scotland.
Red Angus were recorded being imported in 1873 from Scotland.
They are a Continental breed, which means they were imported from another country.
Red Angus have all of the characteristics of Black Angus. The cows are hardy, and grow quickly and are naturally polled(no horns).
This breed is now most popular in countries like Australia, and is famous for its beef.
Heat tolerance and the ability to cross with other red breeds without introducing the dominant black color.
They’re very nervous which makes them harder to work with, and genetically small in size.
