STAGE 1 – Formation of Dance Crews in groups of 4 (mixed ability chosen by teacher). Creation of profiles, backstory, costumes and music. STAGE 2 – Planning the tour. Press release, interviews, tour route, tickets and budgeting, posters and advertising. STAGE 3 – Rehearsals, final performance and self-assessment Year 6 - Unit Overview

STAGE 1 – Writing individual profiles of each crew. Backstory and history of how the crew formed. Persuasive writing to recruit a crew member. STAGE 2 – Press release article about the crew for the newspaper. Interview the crew and write up for magazine. Create poster for advertising. Press conference (whole class). STAGE 3 – Written review of the tour and final performance, speaking and listening, drama role play techniques. LITERACY

STAGE 2 -Budgeting – tickets, cost of venues, costumes, food drink, travel, accommodation -Time – shows, tour in total and travelling MATHS

STAGE 2 – Planning venues and tour route around the UK GEOGRAPHY

ALL STAGES - Dance rehearsals using Just Dance Game and then forming own dance routine for final performance P.E

STAGE 1 – Wii for Just Dance game. Create a website/blog for the Dance Crew. Create job advert. STAGE 2 – Posters, tickets created. Photoshoot and dance video. Filming press conference. Excel budgeting. Recording interview. STAGE 3 – Film final performance. ICT
