Great Sea (Mediterranean) 5 SEAS Find three points along the middle fold line. Great Sea (Mediterranean) one at the map’s left edge one at the map’s center and one halfway in between Draw a backward “S” curve connecting all three points. Extend your line to where the right-most fold line meets the top of the map. You have drawn the coast of the first of five seas, the GREAT Sea.

Great Sea (Mediterranean) 5 SEAS Lay the back of your left hand on the bottom of your map with the first two fingers widely spread. Great Sea (Mediterranean) Do so that the index finger leaves approximately one inch between its tip and the Great Sea. Trace your fingers. You have drawn the coast of the second of five seas, the RED Sea. Red Sea

Great Sea (Mediterranean) 5 SEAS Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) Find the place below the Kinneret where the fold lines cross Great Sea (Mediterranean) Draw a small oval that extends halfway up to the Kinneret. Salt Sea (Dead Sea, Sea of the Plain) You have drawn the fourth of five seas, the SALT sea. Red Sea

Great Sea (Mediterranean) 5 SEAS Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) Find the space between the Great Sea and the Red Sea. Great Sea (Mediterranean) Draw a small oval that almost fills the space. 1 MOUNTAIN Find a spot just above where the index and middle finger meet. Draw a mountain there. You have drawn Mount SINAI. Mount Sinai

2 RIVERS Find a spot halfway between Kinneret and the top of the map. Jordan River Draw down along the fold line from this spot to the Kinneret and from the Kinneret to the Salt Sea. You have drawn the first of two rivers, the JORDAN.

2 RIVERS Find a spot in the center of the box to the left of the Reed Sea. Jordan River Draw a line up to that spot. Then draw a “V” up from the spot whose two arms fill the top of the box.
