What is Relay? Kalynn Alley What is Relay? Although the main objective of Relay is to raise money for cancer research and cancer patients, the 24 hour event is held to spread cancer awareness, celebrate the lives of survivors, remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and unite a community in the fight against cancer.

Team Incentives Tiffani Noah All teams with 10 registered team members that have each raised $ will go into a lottery for a tent site inside the track must be completed by 05/15/12. First 10 teams with 20 registered team members that have each raised $ will receive 2 VIP parking Passes!!!

Goals Tiffani Noah What happens when a participant raises $100? An comes to you saying “You have raised at least $100 for the American Cancer Society earning you your 2012 Relay For Life participant shirt!“ We are thankful to have you helping your American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer, and more birthdays! Keep up the good work! The sky is the limit. Check out the National Fundraising Club to see what gifts are waiting for you at the next level. Something new: We will be handing out buttons to participants as they reach milestone goals…keep an eye out for the new buttons at meetings this year!

Most WANTED Food At FOOD for Lane County, we are working hard to fight hunger. With your help we can provide our neighbors with more nutritious food. The foods listed below are healthy, have a great shelf life, and tend to be more expensive for us to purchase.  Canned meats (tuna, chicken, salmon, corned beef)  Low-sugar fruit, dried fruit, jams and jellies, unsweetened applesauce  Canned and dried beans (pinto, navy, kidney, refried)  Canned stew, chili, hearty soups, and broth  Boxed macaroni and cheese  Pasta, rice, cereal, corn meal  Cooking oil and olive oil  Canned tomato products (whole, paste, spaghetti sauce)  Peanut Butter  Ethnic foods (mole, tortillas, enchilada sauce, cumin, chilies, etc.) A monetary donation goes even further.
