1 Module 1: Desktop Readiness

Objectives 2 Welcome to the Cayuse424 Desktop Readiness Module. In this module you will learn:  What is required to prepare your desktop so that you can access and use the Cayuse424 web application to support proposal development and electronic submission to Grants.gov.  Where to obtain detailed instructions on getting your desktop ready.

Desktop Readiness Task List 3 Task:Why: Configure Web browserTo ensure you can fully utilize Cayuse424 and all its functionality. There is one task to complete before your desktop is ready to use Cayuse424:

Browser Critiques 4 Firefox - Recommended browser for Cayuse424 with any operating system. Firefox has the fastest load & response times. We currently support 2.0. Internet Explorer - Slower than Firefox but an effective browser for the application. We support up to IE7. Safari – Not supported at this time due to significant browser bugs. We are keeping watch on this Mac platform browser and anticipate better performance with the release of Leopard. When configuring your browser, keep in mind:
