OOOOur idols are now spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Reality of Idolatry TTTThey are mindless. Deuteronomy 4:28 "And there you will serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.

TTTThey are helpless. Jeremiah 10:5 They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, For they cannot do evil, Nor can they do any good."
