Two Types of Goals Passive & Active Passive Goals = Expressed statements that maybe undefined and have no active plan Active Goals = Goals that has a precise target plan and are ready to be put in to action.

Ten Goal Setting Strategies 1.Goal Setting is a skill so you have to learn the effective methods. 2. All goals must be (written down) A goal that is not written down is just a wish it is undefined. 3.Written goals should begin with the word (To) writing to before the goals helps you write it and put the goal into action. Example (To study 30 Mins a Day), (To lose weight in a healthy way)

Ten Goal Setting Strategies 4.All goals must be dated every goal should have a start and end date.If you have a goal that doesn’t necessarily have an ended date.Put a date that you want to see improvement by. (Example to be a better Mother to my children) My Goal Is to…. 5.Small goals (short term) are more important or just as important than dream goals. They are the steps that get you to your dreams goals. example Making a goal to work out daily helps your accomplish your goal of losing weight 6. All goals should be written to change when necessary. (Your life doesn’t stay the same. Things change so know that you can adjust update and modify them as need.)

Ten Goal Setting Strategies 7. Every goal plan should include obstacles and action steps write a goal than write 3 obstacles that might stop you from reaching your goal. Next you write 3 action steps that will help you overcome those obstacles you listed. 8.All goals are steps to something Else. All Goals lead to something else. (example) Goal to Graduate College. This goal leads to another goal of finding your dream Career and being successful. Once you start on a goal you must build on it. 9. Your Goals must be tracked Weekly Bi- weekly Monthly Etc. Once you set a goal you must track them to maintain progress to reach them. Keep in mind you can always update your goals to accommodate your life
