Which Bubble Gum Last the Longest? By: Haley Johnson

Purpose The propose of this project is to find out which brand of bubble gum will last the longest.

Materials Get 2-5 brands of different gum Get a stopwatch

Hypothesis I think that Bubblelious will have the longest lasting flavor because it is thick and I have had it before and it lasted long. I also think that Juicy Fruit will have a long lasting flavor.

Procedure First you buy what type of bubble gum you would like to chew. Then you chew your first gum of choice You then time how long the flavor last, try this a couple times and with different people. Then record how long and do the same thing with your next gum.

Experiment First I chewed the first gum Juicy Fruit it came out with 5 minuets Then I chewed Bubble Tape Foot Long it came out with 3 minuets Next I chewed Trident which came out with 30 minuets Last I chewed Bubblelious which came out with 30 minuets

results It turns out that Bubblious and Trident won surprisingly Juicy Fruit did not while it was a stronger flavor it died out quickly.

Conclusion I learned that Bubblious has the longest flavor so does Trident

Future considerations I would pick different gum brands and see the results.
