Yes/No Questions To ask a question with a yes or no answer: – ¿Verb+ Subject + Rest? – ¿Haces tú la tarea ahora? – ¿Verb + Rest+ Subject? – ¿ Haces la tarea ahora tú? – ¿ Verb + Rest? (The subject may be omitted.) – ¿ Haces la tarea ahora?

Some Basic Interrogative Words Who? What? Where? Why? When? How? ¿Quién? ¿Quiénes? ¿Qué? ¿Dónde? ¿Por qué? ¿Cuándo? ¿Cómo?

Negative To ask about “not doing” we use the word “no” before the verb “hacer.” ¿No hiciste la tarea? Didn’t you do the homework? ¿Quién no hizo la tarea? Who didn’t do the homework? ¿Por qué no haces la tarea? Why aren’t you doing the homework?
