Step by step instructions (THIS PROJECT MAY TAKE HOURS, DEPENDING ON THE LIGHT) 1. Unwrap one of each kind of chocolate (Unwrap one white chocolate, one milk chocolate, and one dark chocolate) 2. Place each kind of chocolate in light 3. On the piece of paper label your heading: First Try 4. Wait until one of the chocolate melts 5. Then on the piece of paper, write which chocolate melted first 6. Wait until another chocolate melts 7. Write on the piece of paper the next chocolate that melted 8. Write on the piece of paper the last chocolate that melted

Control/Variables Stated: CONTROL- VARIABLES N O N E

4-5 observations from experiment 1.White Chocolate wasn’t melting 2.Milk chocolate was like sweating 3.Dark chocolate was melting at a slow pace 4.When I was done, the white chocolate didn’t do anything

Data Nothing was happening in the beginning. I felt each kind of chocolate The white chocolate felt the same The milk chocolate was sort of wet and sticky. The dark chocolate was the same as the milk chocolate but not as much. In the end, milk chocolate melted first with dark chocolate in second, and white chocolate coming in third, melting very slowly

Analysis of data a.The experiment did test my hypothesis because my hypothesis and the results were very much different. b. I know that the results did test my hypothesis because the milk chocolate melted first, then dark chocolate melted next, and lastly the white chocolate melted last. The results were different than my hypothesis c. I did some research, and it says that chocolate that has more cocoa butter in it, is more likely to melt faster

Conclusions a.My hypothesis was incorrect b.If I had to change something in my experiment, I would have timed my experiment. c.A new question I have is, does white chocolate have a chemical that makes it melt slower? d.I n the end, milk chocolate melts first, dark chocolate comes in second, and white chocolate melted last.
