OVERVIEW  It has been fun and exciting but the building is alright. We used 24 straws, 8 pieces of string 4 pieces of 25in string and 4 pieces of string 45in.

What I liked to learn  How they fly and get so high.  Then where and how people learned about it and found out how to fly kites.  What did they make the kites out of when they were first made?

Basics of flight  It flies depending on the shape and size of the kite. Some are bigger than others and heavier. It still has some of the same math skills and designs as other kites.

Comparisons  Some kites are like birds they just float with the way the wind is blowing. Different kites have different ways to fly them. And how to make them fly.

Different kites  The one in the bottom left is a hybrid kite. Another one is the winged box, sled box, delta, and diamond kite. And these are all the five types of kites.  winged box, sled,box,delta,diamond These kites have a length of chord called a bridle attached to one or more points on the kite. Kite line attachment for Sled Kites and Para foil Kites is the same as used on Diamond Kites. Dragon Kites and Box Kites, however it's usually not recommended to adjust the bridle on a Sled or Para foil kite.
