 His first photos were published in the 1950s in Arizona Highways -Raymond Carlson was editor  Went to many schools to get an education in photography - UCSB - Rochester Institute of Technology - Art Center School of Design

 Known for his landscape photography and nature shots - depict the west coast and the U.S.

 works exhibited in various galleries and museums -Mountain Light Gallery in California and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art

 Shared exhibits with Jack Dykinga and Ansel Adams -Phoenix Art Museum and the Museum of North Arizona

 gone through the wildest places in the Americas to take nature and wildlife photography  other places around the world include: - Japan, Galapagos, and South Africa

 Two time Canon Explorer of Light - Worked with the cannon systems for his 35mm pictures
