Using graph paper and colored triangles, design a simple, symmetrical (balanced) quilt pattern. Experiment with several different colors and patterns. Glue your chosen design of colored triangles to the graph paper.

Roll triangle slabs of clay for each section of your quilt.

Using a variety of tools, press patterns and textures into the clay triangles. *** triangles colored the same should have the same pattern…

Once patterns are all completed, assemble your quilt by pinching the edges of the triangles together( on the back) to make it look a fabric seam.

Roll a coil to frame the edges of your quilt, and smooth it into the underside. Curl up edges to form a plate.
