“ARCHITECTUAL LETTER” ADVANCED 3D

“ Lettering ” has been a form of art as early as 3000BC and has become an inspiration for Modern Art both, 2D and 3D…

LOVE is an iconic Pop Art image and sculpture by Robert Indiana. Its original rendering in sculpture was made in 1970 and is displayed at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Indiana's LOVE design has since been reproduced in a variety of formats in displays around the world. Robert Indiana, has played a central role in the development of assemblage art, hard-edge painting and Pop art. He is one of many contemporary artists who made the written word a central element of their life’s work.

In 1986, artist, Jaume Plensa started a series of cast iron sculptures, incorporating light and relief written text.

Artist, Steven Jensen's work is strongly influenced by a long line of Norwegian fisherman to which he belongs. Nautical themes permeate his work and his bold curving lines are inspired by flowing air and water. Jensen is attentive to the relationship between human life and natural order, Jensen's work is steeped in tradition yet modern in it’s approach.

STEPS: BUILDING PHASE (after your plans are approved!) 1.Carefully draw your letter & cut out.
