Weather Words  Cl oudy in Japanese is kumotta.  Fog in Japanese is kiri.  Rain in Japanese is ame.  Snow in Japanese is yuki.  Sunshine in Japanese is Sanshain.  Thunder in Japanese is kaminai.  Warm in Japanese is Attakai.  Windy in Japanese is kaze no tsugoi.

Mount Fuji  Mount Fuji is so tall that it can be seen from Tokyo on a clear day.  It is 62 miles away from Tokyo.  Most people climb Mount Fuji in the Summer because it`s warmer.  The mountain is in a very active area for volcanoes and earthquakes.  Mount Fuji is considered to be one of the world`s most beautiful mountains.  It is 125km around Mount Fuji`s base.  The force of the last eruption, 308 years ago was so great that volcanic ash fell on Tokyo.

Japanese Food  Food in Japan is very different from ours. They eat lots of fish and rice with chopsticks.  Sushi is very beautiful food and is made with raw fish.  Wagashi sweets are sweet and pretty too.
