●I n 1976 when data became available 1.9% of high school students have tried meth before but not shown on graph ●Meths peak year was 1997 with close to 3.2% of students in 12 grade who has used meth in 12 grade ●In 2003 meth number grew again to 3.1% but since then have been steadily dropping ●If the numbers keep dropping as they have been teenage use of meth could be down to almost 0 by 2030 Monitoring the Future

Regardless of the amount of meth you are accused of being in possession of, you will face a felony charge. Depending on the amount of Meth you are in possession of you will have jail time and/or $10,000-15,000 in fines if convicted. Penalties may be enhanced, or increased, if you have a prior drug offense on your criminal record, the crime occurs within close proximity of a church, school, park, business, or home, or due to other factors. If you are charged with either meth possession, manufacture, delivery, distribution, trafficking and/or cultivation it is a law that if you can not afford an attorney one will be appointed to you. But if you choose to hire your own attorney.
