Causes of Food Insecurity Drought and other extreme weather events.  Pests, livestock diseases and other agricultural problems.  Climate change.  Lack of emergency plans.  Corruption and political instability.  Cash crops dependence.  Rapid population growth.  Military conflicts ( Israeli Occupation )
