W HAT ’ S SO AWESOME ABOUT TEAM 3?... EVERYTHING! Team 3 is a combination of 6 th graders and 7 th graders- the only combo team in the school! These students will have a slightly different schedule from the other teams in the building. Though the schedule may provide challenges, the Team 3 teachers are willing to help and will be patient as we all start the school year and get into the swing of things.

6 TH G RADE EXPLORATORY 6 th graders will go to 2 Exploratory classes during the day. 1st Exploratory: All Team 3 6 th graders will have PE. 2nd Exploratory: Mix with other 6 th graders from different teams. Art, FACS, Computers, Technology, Careers, Vocal Music, etc….

7 TH GRADE ELECTIVES All 7 th graders will take 2 elective classes during the day. 1st Elective: All Team 3 7 th graders will have either Computers or Technology first semester and FACS or Art second semester. 2nd Elective: Mix with other 7 th graders from different teams. PE, Careers, Vocal Music, Band, etc…

Kansas Teacher of the Year 2013 Pamela Dombrowski USD 475 – Geary County Fort Riley Middle School 6 th and 7 th Grade Math Every child has the potential to learn...I believe every student can achieve success in mathematics with the proper guidance, instruction, challenge and motivation. I enjoy showing parents and students there are many ways to solve a problem, they just need to figure out what works for them.

This year we are going to focus on the four categories of Language Arts outlined in the Common Core State Standards Reading Writing Speaking and Listening Language
