WE ARE TO BE A CHURCH THAT STEPS THROUGH THE DOOR.

WHY DID JESUS PICK THEM TO OPEN A DOOR BEFORE?

1. They were loyal to Him. 2. They had little strength.

John 15:5- “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

3. They relied on Jesus since He has all strength to accomplish great things.

Ephesians 2:10-“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

WHAT DOES THE DOOR OPEN TO?

Open door into the presence of Jesus.

Open door into EFFECTIVE ministry.

Colossians 4:3-“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.”

Jesus will lead us through the door of effective ministry by:

Making our enemies bow at our feet. (9) Keeping us through the hour of testing. (10)

Making us pillars in His temple. (10) Claiming us with His name. (10)
